Things to look forward to

Things are starting to getting busy...you might want to sit down.

First up we have Together on a Mission and Mobilise, both of which are being hosted at the Brighton Centre (which is unsurprisingly in Brighton) from the 6th to the 9th of July.

Together on a Mission is an annual gathering of 5,000 delegates from 50 nations for inspiring teaching, worship and ministry. All are welcome, so for more information you can visit the Together on a Mission website or you can go straight to the booking page by clicking here.

Mobilise is an annual event gathering over 1600 students and twenties to encounter God and be equipped for the mission ahead. As well as providing great teaching and worship, Mobilise offers the unique opportunity to stand alongside thousands of church leaders at the Together on a Mission conference. Mobilise is unashamedly about helping people to see the bigger picture and equipping them for leadership in order to advance the gospel. For more information you can visit the Mobilise website or you can go straight to the booking page by clicking here.

Following these two cracking conferences we have something for those of you that are a slightly younger.

The 11th to 16th of August sees the return of Newday...Newday is a major christian youth event that takes place over six-days every summer. The event is predominantly for young people and most delegates camp on site. Each day you'll spend time worshipping God, listening to teaching from the Bible and praying together in the main meetings, and in the smaller seminars you can choose from a wide range of topics and issues and learn how to apply God’s word to the way you live.

You also have the chance to put God’s love into action in the local community, with lots of outreach and social action projects into Norwich and parts of Norfolk, and of course there are loads of opportunities to relax and make new friends in the cafés, through the sports programmes or at the live gigs.

Tom and Danielle Newton are arranging things for Grace Church, so if you would like to go you should have a word with them. If you're simply desperate for more information right now you can always visit the Newday website. Even if you don't want to go you should have a word with Tom and Danielle – they're very cool.

Last but by no means least for this season we have Together at Shuttleworth 2010, running from the 27th to the 30th of August. In 2009 over 1,800 people from over 40 Churches enjoyed our regional weekend at Shuttleworth. The 2010 event promises to be even better. Held once again at the wonderful Shuttleworth College in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, you're in for a weekend of inspiring teaching, enthusiastic worship and superb youth and children's work. Don't be too put off by the idea of camping though – you'll be surprised how putting a tent up helps you to get to know others in your church family better!

Colin and Diana Knight are organising things for Grace Church, so have a word with these two fine fellows if you would like more information. They probably know more than anyone else about the event but if you're just itching to use this new-fangled internet thing to gather information you can always visit the Shuttleworth 2010 website.

Thats it for now. There will be other events ahpping later in the year but we`'ll wait until later in the yar to tell you about them.
