Our Story So Far

In January 2008 a team of Christians began to meet in Lincoln, most relocating from cities across the UK, under the leadership of Anthony and Gill Henson. This couple have dedicated over 25 years of their lives to planting, leading and establishing authentic ‘New Testament’ churches in the UK. Over the three years the initial team of around 20 individuals gathered others and the community grew. Eventually a church was established: Grace Church Lincoln.

By early Summer 2011 Anthony and Gill moved to Wolverhampton. They are pioneering another church community, Grace Church Wolverhampton, accompanied by a number of couples from Grace Church and people from across the UK.

Since Summer 2011 our community is led and cared for by our elders Ric Tamisari and David Bond, who are supported by growth group leaders. Our charitable aims are overseen and safeguarded by a board of trustees.

A New Chapter Begins: We believe that we are at the beginning of the next chapter in God’s story with us. We are looking forward to all He has planned. We expect He intends us to do good to the people of Lincoln, support the churches in this city, and above all honour Jesus. We trust that others will join with us on this great adventure!
