What We Believe

The Essential Truth of our Christian faith is that Jesus is God! We believe the bible is a trustworthy account of God’s revelation of Himself to humanity, for all time. In particular the four gospel stories together communicate the historical events that are foundational to true Christian belief.

God Among Us! God the Son came to live amongst us as a man, born of a natural mother. He lived a perfect life, explaining and revealing the character of God. Countless acts of compassion, mercy and miraculous intervention demonstrated God’s power and his love towards mankind. He was sentenced to death even though he was innocent of any wrong-doing. His sacrificial death on our behalf opened the way to eternal life for all who come to God on this basis. He was miraculously raised to life again to eternally overcome all obstacles between man and God. Man is separated from God due to the pollution of sin, and we can only be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.

A Message to Share: God has promised to be with His people continually. Christians have been entrusted with this message to declare and live out for all the world to hear and respond to, until Jesus returns. He will then usher in the end of our broken human history, to make way for perfection and eternity with Him.
