Practical serving in the local church should be the norm for all God's people. It does involve hard work and commitment, but doesn't everything that has any value? It should also be rewarding, knowing that you are helping to build God's church - and it forms part of an authentic worshipper's lifestyle. Ask about how God could use you to make a difference!

Work-Life Patterns: We recognise we all have different jobs, lifestyles and family commitments. We also have different gifts and capacity to help. Grace is the hallmark of how God deals with us and how He would have us serve together. Therefore, we want people to feel free to serve as much or as little as they can, with God's help and guidance.

Service Areas: If you are a committed member of the church, the areas that may benefit from your godly serving are: Worship team, Children's work, Sound tech., Refreshments, Welcome Team, Set-up, Pack-up & Website development

Calling, Spiritual Gifting & Character: At Grace Church we are totally committed to seeing all God's people, the whole body, equipped to serve Jesus. We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts and ministries to build the Body of Christ. We are clear that character and personal devotion to God must develop in equal measure with gifting and calling, to ensure lasting fruitfulness and the safety of God's people. Our hope is that members of Grace Church will thrive and enter into God's destiny for themselves and His purposes for our church community.
