We are a community of Christians across the city of Lincoln, and beyond, who have embraced the life-changing truth that God exists, He loves us dearly and we can have meaningful relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
We seek to build our whole lives on this reality, firmly rooted in biblical truth. We are growing in our passion to experience the nearness of God and His influence in all that we are and do. We are finding that when this happens our love for God and love for people grows. It’s a wonderful life of genuine friendship with God and authentic friendship with other people – too good to keep to ourselves!
Please browse our website to learn more about the Christian faith, about us, Lincoln City, and consider whether this church family is going to be a significant part of your life! You will be warmly welcomed when you visit us on Sunday mornings and there is opportunity to chat over refreshments afterwards. We trust it will be the beginning of many life-changing friendships.
Sunday morning meetings begin at 10.30am and stop for refreshments at around 12 noon. We meet at Sir Francis Hill Primary School on Bristol Drive, and there is plenty of parking space. There is a self-service crèche and children’s activities for 5-11 year olds. Sunday lunches are provided for visitors and students. We also arrange lifts for those who need transport.
What can visitors expect most Sundays?
Relax! We are a very easy-going, friendly church. People from every walk of life are very welcome and we certainly don’t dress up!
Songs to God - We spend around half-an-hour in musical worship. During this time, members of the church often bring spontaneous contributions to encourage us. These could be songs, prayers, bible readings, prophecy and other gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Bible Teaching - After a short break for notices, and to welcome each other, the main teaching message is brought which is based in the Bible. This lasts about 30-45mins.
Responding to God - There is often opportunity to make a response, if appropriate, including receiving prayer for healing.
Lord’s Supper - We break bread and share wine together at least once a month to celebrate what Jesus has achieved. All Christians are welcome to take part. Occasionally we do this in our growth groups.
Newfrontiers is a worldwide family of churches across over 40 nations, working together to see the Kingdom of God extended. Here in the UK, there are around 250 churches and church plants. Along with a desire to plant new churches, there is a clear aim to see 'church' restored to all that God intends the church to be.

We live in days of church closures, as well as the majority of people not attending any church, and yet we believe that the good news of knowing God personally through Jesus Christ is a message that is as relevant today as any other - we need more churches, not fewer! We want to work alongside other churches in this great task and mission.

From Corinth With Love

What if...Paul's teaching to the church in Corinth were faithfully followed by today's Christians? Listen to previous messages in this series in the Listen Again section.
Christian new to this area? We'd love you to get in touch with us! Find out a bit more about us on this website, and if you like what you see, why not visit one Sunday morning.
But perhaps you are on a quest? You may be one of many who are looking for something 'out there'. Increasingly people are searching. More than landing the dream job, or "The One" partner for life, people are looking for answers to the big questions.
Meaning, Hope, Purpose: We all want these in our lives. We want to belong and find lasting love. Some of us cry out for healing and a fresh start. We believe the Christian faith, centred on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, is where we find all that our souls long for. Jesus taught "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be open to you." His promise is unconditional. All genuine seekers will find, and Jesus says He himself is the way. Now, that's encouraging!
Is Jesus the real thing? There are many ways to explore this revolutionary question. We have some suggestions on this site. Happy exploring and let us know how we can help.
